Summary: Working on two website: a personal art website for me and an illustration website. Joined a local drawing club and reached a 200-day streak on Duolingo! Commissions are opening again next month!

These are a few of my fave arts I made throughout May!

The sheep is originally from my sketchbook that were heavily edited and digitally finished and collaged...? This was a perfect experiment on how to share my sketchbook art while adding something fresh and new to them, not that the final digitally finished versions are better than the sketchbook versions.

General Updates:

Literary Agencies:

This past month I have been researching in literary agencies and making art for picture books :3
It has been years of people telling me that my art would look nice in a book, and now at 28 I am finally moving towards that at my own pace!

My goals before applying to agencies are to:

• Update my art portfolio (which is not available to view at this moment)

• Have more artwork featuring backgrounds

• Exploring different themes and moods and color palettes

• And of course, add these samples to my portfolio <3

I am hoping to start applying early-2025 with new updates and enhanced skills perfect for picture books! :3
I hope it goes well I am nervous about trying this out and putting myself and my art out there to people outside social media...BUT! I think it is worth the short!

This past month I have created two desktop wallpapers for my patrons! I enjoy making these ads so much, so I guess I will share them here too whenever I make a newsletter!

Local Drawing Club:

My partner and I have been attening these local drawing club meetings in our city!

This is our second time going and, we are so happy to be around so many creative people again! Everyone is so respectful and nice, especially during the show-and-tell moment at the end!

Here are some pictures I took during out drawing date outting! We also had a doctor appointment earlier that day, so we were hanging out around the city all day. It was a tiring, but very nice day.

Duolingo 200-day Streak!!

I made it to 200 days on Duolingo Spanish on May 8!! >:3

This has been the most dedicated I have been learning spanish ever! This is my longest streak and to be honest I do not particularly like learning languages, so this is a huge achivement for me personally!!

Currently, I am on my 268-day streak!!

Weebly Art Website:

So I have been working on this website during May, alongside my illustration portfolio to apply for agencies. I am very happy with how it looks so far!

Currently, I am organzing what I REALLY want to share on this art website and also reformatting photos to web optomization, so hopefully the website will not be so slow and the photos load quickly! I am trying to keep my images under 500 kb in file size at the moment! >:3
