February was pretty busy for me!! I am happy it is over, BUT I am so so grateful for all the support and kind words I definitely needed to hear. XD

February I was:

• Working as a colorist for a webcomic for my pal, Saki (( pls go check his original LGBTQ+ fantasy romance stories ))

• Finished YCH Lovey Dovey Commissions, more than I originally expected ❤️ ❤️

• Working on new personal commission options, with the help of my partner”s OCs.

• Scrambled to know what to do when Tumblr deleted two of my side blogs with no notice.

Yes, one of the vanished side blogs was my ghostlymatte art blog. 😭 😭 

I already contacted support and have not heard any news about either blogs. It was emotionally devastating losing my blogs with years of memories + my favorite places to be online, and knowing they can just vanish with no known reason… anyways, I am doing a lot better now. I must admit to looping the Alien Stage tragic music videos as a form of coping, which helped a lot with distract me at the time.

Visual problem solving is just so addictive and fun! It is like solving a puzzle while also figuring out the more visually pleasing way to do it!

All these characters belong to my darling love, CrossKrow. He lend me his OCs to practice drawing half-body characters!!

My idea is to offer chibis and half-body characters for my personal commissions. I am wanting to open personal commission sooner than later, but we shall see!

I will let you guys know first when my personal commissions are back, of course!

♡ Demon artist series ♡

So this illustration series was originally just silly doodles of a demon artist. But I merged it with my passion for mental creative pep talks, and this is what it is! These different phrases and sayings are creative phrases that help me when I am struggling in my creative process. My artistic struggles tend to be due to: financial, self-confidence, fear, lack of rest, etc.

But what matters most is that: If you feel the call to create something into existence, then by all means, CREATE!! Do it for you!!

Creating and expression yourself is one of the most human things you can feel and do! We are all creative in one sense or another. Be it through 3D modeling, cooking, singing, daily fashion, product design, drawing, animating: these all require creative thinking and should be celebrated and embraced!! In the end, it is all a matter of your individual perspective.

These videos really speak to me as a creative person and I hope they resonate with you and inspire you too in one way or another too!!

I believe everyone should have a creative outlet, even if that is crafting worlds in Minecraft! It is so very important to release the tension of the daily grind, to process your feelings, to heal from wounds you did not know you had. The struggles and topics you go through when pursing a creative hobby/hobbies, can be applied in so many different aspects of life that is not artistic. Such as: expectations, fear, hesitation, comparison, grief, humility, patience, endurance, kindness, openness, and so much more.
