✯ Recent Commissions & Citrus Con

For those that may not recall, I first opened my personal commissions for the year for Citrus Con 2026 a few weeks ago! It was ridiculously chaotic and fun! I got to meet lots of people, attend many heart-moving panels, wrote down a ton of manga/anime/book recommendations, and even got a few commissions bought! Those commissions are the ones shown above.

Anyways, I left Citrus Con with my heart so so very full and wrote a few things down in my sketchbook, before the closing event, and I want to share with you!

✯ Art Update Time !

✯ Watercolors

So I bought a Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolor set at a local art shop and was mentally crying tears of joy! I started thinking of all the things I could incorporate watercolors in my traditional work, and realized it would be great to get a big base of color down and then use various mediums on top of it! So that is what I did!

First, I drew these guys in black ballpoint pen and then I used watercolor on top as a base and tested the abilities of my non-watercolor paper ehehe.

Second, I used color pencils on top after a few days of letting these guys dry and putting heavy books on top to help flatten them a bit.

I am still very much new to watercolors and getting used to having to set up and then putting them away.

Mr. Ouchies, the middle artwork, is going on my dining room wall - where he can enjoy a warm meal with anyone there! <3

I want to eventually sell original mixed media artwork like the examples above, in my city, but first I want to play and enjoy the watercolors first. : )

✯ IN THE WORKS: OC ZINE of my vampire trio

So I have these three vampire OCs and I have been working on a zine to showcase them and enjoy them! I am only in the early stages of it, but I am so very excited I want to share my excitement with you too!!

I came up with this idea around the time of finishing this latest OC drawing of Lilac and Roots! I have not shared it on my social media platforms yet, so you guys get first look!
