Hi!!!! how are you doing? are you also excited for halloween spooky times?

Moving has been a slow thing, but I have mainly readjusting my weekly schedules to fit in some personal reading, like Moby Dick and Grimm Fairy Tales, and personal study time like marine biology and spanish. I am keeping busy!! But honestly, maybe a little too busy lol.

Anyways lets get into it!

Art Updates:

These drawings above were all digital! My main focus has been exploring and keeping things as enjoyable as possible for me without giving myself a headache with thinking too hard about the possible results hahaha.

It was an intersting process of jumping around with different ideas at the same time. I believe this is how I best work with my creativity and not run myself down with perfectionism and high expectations for self.

Does anyone else struggle with perfectionism in creating? It can be quite silly, huh? Creating does not have a “perfect method“ just a “method that works for me”. At least that is how I see it.

Digital WIPs!!!

These bad boys above are a few digital drawing ideas I am slowly working on!! The goal is to keep it fun, keep it whimsical, and keep it clear to understand what is happening!

These are all in progress, plus a few more that I shared over on my Patreon - all in full view over there! I am still debating on what can be taken away or added to make this more fun to work on for me! Let us see how this goes in the following weeks :"3

Patreon Update!

I shared my latest batches of sketchbook pages to my lovely patrons! You can access all 9 pages and all previous years filled with sketchbook pages for $3 USD per month!! :3

This batch of pages were filled with scribbles with crayons and colors, practicing simplifying faces and poses, practicing landscapes and animals, and a few art studies based on existing artwork. I find it fun being able to practice compositions through looking at artwork that is out there!!

It is tough these days to be kind to ourselves and feel resilient to outside noise that tells us we are not doing enough or we do not deserve kindness or love for this reason or that. I like to rewatch these videos a few times during my weeks as soft reminders to during tough mental days.
