Hi hi! I hope you had a safe, fun, spooky month >:3c

Last month I had focused on reconnecting with myself in making personal art, after a long time of freelance illustration work + preparing for applying/preparing for months to literary agencies months.

I cannot believe it is already November! This year has felt so long, yet went so quickly for me. Was it similar for you?

Anyways! Here is the sighstober art I made last month!

🕸 Sighstober art

Of course, the sketches and initial drawings for these are available for for my $5 tier patrons and higher!

For those that did not know, I used this challenge as a way to focus on making personal art for myself again! It was primarily used to reconnect with my intuition and trusting my gut when it comes to making something finished within an hour. It has very challenging, and I can see myself losing creative juice towards the end, but it really helped build confidence with myself again and show myself that I have not lost my thing.

If you are also struggling with making art: I recommend doing a short art challenge as an encouraging push! Just to show yourself that you can finish something and enjoy yourself during the process! A tip: Keep your art + the art challenge very chill & low expectations in the outcome and have a “bare-minimum” goal (whether that is limiting your art supplies, or the number of art you will make).
